The fourth of the 2009 WCRA Horse Show Series and largest of all WCRA open shows was held on 09-13-09 at Cornerstone Ranch, Princeton, MA, http://www.CornerstoneRanch.org
It was a beautiful sunny day for the last show of the sucessful WCRA Show Series. Judging was Jo-Ann Hamson of Danvers, MA in the main ring and Heather Lemire, Douglas, MA, trail judge. The September show was our busiest day so far with the most entries ever. It is evident the word is getting out about the fun & inexpensive open horse show series being hosted by the WCRA!

The 09-13-09 WCRA Horse Show division winners are as follows:
Lead Line H- Emersyn Fordefrom Storybook Farm riding Skylar; R- John Connell riding Miller
Open Champion - Mary Connell; R- Amina Ameur
1st Yr Canter Lope Champion - Tie: Claire Chick & Quinn Laviolette; R- Abby Guillot
Walk-Trot Adult Champion - Michelle McLarnon (32 pts) from Whispering Oaks riding Prime Time
Green Horse Champion - Julia Connell; R- Jaqueline Holman from New Hope Farm riding Walter John
1st Yr Walk Trot Jog Champion - Julie Goldberg from Gaitway Farm riding Saddlebred Rescue's War Hero, R- Camille Wheeler
Child/Am Adult Hunter Champion- Tie: Alyssa Kelley & Julia Connell; R- Jocelyn Petersen
Gymkhana Champion- Tie: Alyssa Kelley & Mary Connell; R- Julia Connell
A November 2, 2009 banquet is being in the works. The banquet will be held again at O'Conners Restaurant in Worcester. We have reserved an even larger room this year to accommodate the large turnout expected. Everyone is invited to attend with participation ribbons awarded to all entrants attending the awards banquet not qualifying for year end awards. Banquet sign-up information will be posted on the Worcester County Riders Association web site.
An Oct 18, 2009 trail ride is planned with information available on the web site. Watch for our 2010 horse show dates, class list and judges which will be posted to the web site as well. The WCRA plans on continuing with $25 divisions in 2010!
